It’s not all about the Full Moon Party! Koh Phangan has much more to offer than its monthly or bi-monthly raves. With its beach clubs running regularly throughout the month, the dancing does not stop just because the full moon is over. Check out our list of the top nightclubs in Koh Phangan.

Loi Lay Floating Bar

Bantai Beach, Koh Phangan

Possibly the most unique nightclub in Koh Phangan as it floats idly over the waters by the pier of Baan Thai beach, creating a natural light show with the reflection of its colourful lights on the water. Before dark, you can watch the sunset from this little hut while having a nice, cold beer. When the weekly Loi Lay Sunday takes a toll, however, bring on the buckets as you dance to top quality House and Techno music as this lively bar is graced by the likes of Citizenn, Marco Loco, Dave Vega, and Nakadia.

Ku Club

The Beach Village, Baan Tai, Koh Phangan

Celebrate Ibiza’s Balearic beat in this open-air nightclub that even has a replica of Privilege’s statue of Ku. Enjoy the beach party vibe as you dance to Old Skool House, Underground House, and Bass Music on Friday and Saturday nights with its resident DJs, Graham Gold, Rob Gritton, and Rory Galagher. Most nights, however, Ku is a great place for chilling and watching the sunset.

Baan Tai, Ko Phangan

Located just at the entrance of Haad Rin, this giant bamboo and concrete dome has an excellent sound system that will blow your mind. With a giant pool and a beach just outside, you will have a wild night in this busy night spot. With various DJs and themed parties most days of the week, this is where the party happens when the other clubs are in their lounge and chill state.

Hin Kong Beach, Koh Phangan

A meeting point for musicians from all over the world with its full stage set up, Jam is the best place for live music. From classic covers like Knocking on Heavens Door to Bob Marley hits, the shows here ring true to its name. It’s a place where musicians can jam and surprise their audience with the songs that they are going to play. If you are a musician yourself, then perhaps this is the best place to make your Thai debut.

Haad Rin Beach East, Koh Phangan

A guesthouse, lounge, and party place all rolled into one, this is a place that never sleeps. Not for a night in, but for a fun night out, the 6,000-watt sound system booms with high-quality house, techno, and progressive music all days of the week. There is no chill and lounge mode for this party hostel. Just listen for the music to find it.

Baan Tai Beach, Koh Phangan

Infinity Beach Cub Hostel is a place that’s hard to leave. Located on a usually serene beach front with three bars, two restaurants, a rooftop terrace, and a giant swimming pool, you will either be chilling or partying here, depending on the time of the day. If you are not staying here, then get a good deal by chilling at their lounge during happy hour and watch the sunset from 5 PM to 6 PM as you wait for the music to start.

Changes do happen. Some hangouts start slacking on the music and some new places open up. Let us know if you have found something new. We would be happy to add it to this list.
