The Island Awesomeness Tour by Slumber Party Hostels
Does Tonsai and Railay ring a bell? Backpackers often debate over Tonsai vs Railay – which is the better experience? Luckily, you won’t have to make that tough decision if you go on our island Awesomeness Tour! We take the time to show off the 4 best islands around Krabi, with Tonsai and Railay being the cap ends of the island hopping experience.
Many travel bloggers rate Tonsai Beach and Railay Beach as one of the most beautiful beaches not only within the Andaman Sea, but in Asia as a whole. Chicken Island and Poda Island are the 2 most popular snorkeling destinations in Thailand, both of which are considered National Parks. Don’t get scammed by other tour companies that offer extremely cheap prices, they’ll exclude the National Park fees (200 baht per island)!

The Krabi coastline glitters with golden sand beaches, limestone karst cliffs and tropical vibes. The contrast between the turquoise waters and the cliffs that surround your every view on Railay are magnificent. It’s tough to take photos that do this place justice, honestly.
Poda Island (Koh Poda) is everything you’ve imagined when you hear the words “tropical island”. If you’ve worried about not getting an epic island experience because of overdevelopment or tourist crowds, this is THE place for you. The unspoiled, heavenly islands still exist in Thailand and Poda is the shining example of this. Crystal clear waters, completely deserted white sand beaches and no commercial developments. Not a single bungalow. Not a restaurant. Not even a beachside bar (don’t worry, we’ll BYOB).
Chicken Island and Poda Island are often sold as a package deal for snorkeling with tropical fish. It’s hard to say which of the 2 is the better spot but that doesn’t matter too much since we take you to both on the Island Awesomeness Tour. Both offer the best snorkeling in Thailand, hands down. Can’t go wrong, really.
We (arguably) save the best for last! Tonsai Beach is absolutely incredible. While Tonsai is famous as a place for rock climbers since you can fall into the water during high tide, we take the easy way climbing up a ladder to a lookout point to watch the sunset. Have you ever watched the sunset from a beach side cave with the squad? Check that one off your bucket list, we’ve got you covered!Book the Tour Now
