How to Spend a Rainy Day In Krabi

Well-known for its outdoor activities, staying in Krabi during the rainy season can definitely be a bummer. There are, however, some outdoor tourist attractions that you can check out even if its pouring – If you don’t mind putting on your non-slip shoes and raincoat. Here are some adventures you can find in Krabi on a rainy day.

WAT THAM SEUA

Still a wet excursion on the slippery climb up the summit of the famous Wat Tham Seua, Tiger Cave Temple, the cooler temperature actually makes the climb a bit more pleasant. 1,237 steps becomes a breeze and the sound of the rain produces a beautiful sound within the cave walls. So, don’t let the light rain stop you from getting to the top.

KAYAK IN BAR THOR

There is something magical about the way the mist covers the mangroves when it is raining. As the 3.5 hours of kayaking include a ride through a cave with wall paintings, you won’t be spending the whole day out in the rain. With the warm temperature in Krabi, rain showers can be a welcome thing.
