The Cat House

Hello, breakfast! | Source

Disappointingly, there are no cats to be found here, but The Cat House makes up for its lack of felines with a delicious menu full of healthy dishes from around the world!

If you’re in the mood for Mexican, why not try the big breakfast burrito? Or if you fancy something lighter, the muesli bowl is not only delicious but also beautiful: it’s made of brightly colored with bright yellow mango and hot pink dragonfruit on top!

There are a couple of different locations around the city. The original restaurant is at 8/5 Chaiyapoom, Soi 1, Chiang Mai.

The Cat Shack, housed in a picturesque 100-year-old teak building, can be found at 6/2 Ratvithi Rd Lane 1, Tambon Si Phum, Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai, Chang Wat Chiang Mai.

Free Bird Café

Bowl o’ goodness | Source

With a whole load of excellent reviews, it’s worth heading to The Free Bird Café for some attractive and more out there options. Some of these include their lavender lattes, their famous tea leaf salad or vegan pancakes drizzled with coconut flower syrup.

Not only will the food make you feel great, but all of their profits go straight to the Thai Freedom House. You eat well, and you do good…what more could you possibly want?

Find The Free Bird at Cafe at Manee Nopparat Rd, Chang Moi, Amphoe Mueang Chiang Mai, Chang Wat Chiang Mai.

Khun Kae’s Juice Bar

No guilt here | Source

It’s easy to mistake this place for another smoothie stand, but don’t be fooled by its appearance. The inside holds a massive display of fruit and veg, bright and colored wooden tables and a wall covered in post-it notes from people who have eaten there.

If you’re looking for smoothie bowls in Chiang Mai, Khun Kae’s Juice Bar is the place for you. The juice bar offers a selection of different flavors, and they prepare each bowl with almond milk and bananas to give it a smooth and creamy texture.

The green smoothie bowl will arguably be the most delicious green smoothie you’ve ever tried, flavored with vanilla and cinnamon. The blueberry bowl is pure goodness with frozen blueberries, dates and avocado. Even the most indulgent bowl on the menu – the chocolate bowl – is still super healthy with frozen bananas, dates, peanut butter and cocoa powder.

Going in for seconds or thirds won’t consume you with guilt if you’re enjoying a meal here.

Khun Kae’s is at Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai.
