It’s So Close to the Famous Phi Phi Islands

These beautiful islands are so famous that they were featured in the film The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio. With it’s stunning Maya Bay, notoriously fun beach parties, top-class diving adventures, and awesome nature treks, there are tons to love about Phi Phi. It Has a Gorgeous National Park

Krabi holds some of the bluest pools of water in one of its finest forests. In the Thung Teao Forest National Park, an unusual low-land of greenery teeming with biodiversity, you can admire a blue lagoon surrounded by quicksand and even rejuvenate yourself after a hard day of traveling in the sea green-hued Emerald Pool. Just a short walk from this pool lies something just as special. Hot springs! These relaxation havens offer a uniquely refreshing experience with the perfect temperature to soak and relieve body pain and leave you with smooth, soft skin.

It’s an Amazing Place to Kayak

If you plan to kayak in Krabi head to Ao Nang and Ao Thalane. The breathtaking beauty of these two towns is best seen from a watercraft. Get up close and personal with stunning limestone rock, rich mangroves and a vast ocean of turquoise blue. Koh Hong island near Krabi also provides excellent kayaking territory that amazing for bird-watching. You’ll see a variety of the flying fellows as you paddle along the coast, including the greater hornbill.

It Has Awesome Beaches

When in Krabi, go to the beach. You can either catch a boat to the famous Railay with an impressive backdrop of geographical wonders or enjoy a golden stripe of sand on a nearby island. Koh Hong island and Koh Pak Bia island are great spots to marvel at some of Krabi’s ocean jewels. Koh Hong is perfect for snorkeling and sports a beach with a pretty side bay that forms a natural lagoon. Teeming with just as much natural beauty, Koh Pak Bia boasts amazing beaches, plus a large circular dome covered with lush green foliage. Lie out on the sand and take in some breathtaking views.

Krabi Town

Krabi Town isn’t your usual touristy resort town. Luckily, it still has managed to retain a vibrant local color. The river running through the town is where you can really see people in action. It’s always full of fishing boats bringing in their days catches that you’ll probably eat at one of Krabi Town’s authentic restaurants. The charming, laid-back atmosphere truly gives visitors a genuine taste of Thailand. Wander around the Krabi Town Walking Street at night for additional lively ambiance and enhanced stimulation for your five senses. A cluster of stalls sells everything from delectable street food to beautiful handcrafts, clothes, and souvenirs.

It’s Foodie’s Paradise

Krabi Town enables you to indulge in some of the best street food in all of Thailand. Please your palate with dishes like mouth-watering Phad Thai, stir-fried rice noodles seasoned with fish sauce, lime, red chili pepper and more or some healthy Som Tam – Gai Yang, a yummy green papaya salad that goes well with grilled chicken on a skewer as well as sticky rice.
